My love of painting

As some of you already know,I’m not only a T-shirt designer and jewelry maker, but I also like painting. My love of painting started since I was a child. My father used to paint a lot as a hobby using water colors, oil paints and pastels, and our neighbor was a known
painter who exhibited his works in many galleries. I started then taking tutorials with my neighbor using oil paints and continued painting at home using also pastels, pencils and charcoal. Since I moved to New Zealand, I also paint using acrylics. Back in my homeland I used to paint mainly still life and landscapes, but here in New Zealand I started practicing more abstract painting which allows me more freedom and releases my imagination. I would like to share with you the latest cutting edge printing technology which we use in all our T-shirts and which is also eco-friendly. This method is called “DTG” – Direct to Garment. In this printing method, the printing media is not a film (as in screen printing) or vinyl (as in press and peel heat transfer) but the garment itself. (more…)

Did you know that Bamboo plant can grow up to 36 inches (91 cm) in a single day and can reach maturity in less than 4 years?? Amazing – isn’t it?
Bamboo is grown without pesticides or chemicals and protects the air we breathe (it releases 35% more oxygen than trees!!). (more…)
